Better Than We Found It: 4th Annual Climate Convention

Join us for our 4th Annual Climate Convention, an in-person conference at Camp Bothin. A day of workshops, hands-on skills, speakers, and finding new ways to get active in our communities and globally to preserve our planet and all living things. We’ll also spend time decompressing from our daily lives and enjoying the natural world around us. Together we can save our planet! You don’t want to miss Better Than We Found It: 2024!

For: Girl Scouts and Tagalongs (Grades 4-12) ~ min 30/ max 150 and Adults ~ min 10/max 50

GSNorCal Youth & Tagalong Participant Fees:

  • $30 Early Bird (ends August 15, 2024)
  • $35 (August 16, 2024 through September 30, 2024)

GSNorCal Adult Participant Fees:

  • $30 Early Bird (ends August 15, 2024)
  • $35 (August 16, 2024 through September 30, 2024)

Out-of-Council Girl Scout Youth Participant Fees (non-GSNorCal Member):

  • $35 Early Bird (ends August 15, 2024)
  • $40 (August 16, 2024 through September 30, 2024)

Out-of-Council Girl Scout Adult Participant Fees (non-GSNorCal Member):

  • $35 Early Bird (ends August 15, 2024)
  • $40 (August 16, 2024 through September 30, 2024)

Program Fee Includes: Program supplies, patch and snacks.

Please Note: Bring a sack lunch and full water bottle. Groups must have registered adults to meet Girl Scout adult:youth ratios. This is not a drop-off event.

Early Discount
Before 8/16/2024 a discount of $5.00 will apply to all Youth (Girl Scout Member) Registrants.
Before 8/16/2024 a discount of $5.00 will apply to all Tagalong (Non-GS member) Registrants.
Before 8/16/2024 a discount of $5.00 will apply to all Adult (Girl Scout Member) Registrants.
Cancellation Policy

Events run rain or shine unless inclement weather would adversely affect a program. In those cases, participants will be notified of cancellation or rescheduling. If GSNorCal cancels the event for any reason or cannot place participants in the event of their choice, GSNorCal will issue a refund for 100% of the registration fee.

No refunds will be issued for registration fees of $9 or less per individual. Cancellation of registration 30 days or more prior to the activity date is eligible for a 50% refund of the registration fee per individual. No refunds are made 30 days or less prior to the activity date. No refunds will be issued for non-attendance. Refunds for medical reasons must be submitted in writing to registration@gsnorcal.org. A physician's note must be submitted within 7 days from the date of the event in order to process the refund. In all cases, the $25.00 Girl Scout membership and $25 council service fees are non-refundable.
