Care Care Badge Event

Driving is an excellent step towards independence, a chance to have fun going new places, and a big responsibility. At this badge workshop, you'll master basic maintenance tips that keep a car in top form and driving skills that will help you rule the road, safely. Join the Shasta College Automotive Department, Redding CHP, and other industry specialists to earn the Senior Car Care badge! 

November 16, 2024 ~ 9:00am-1:00pm

For: Girl Scout Youth Grades 9-12 ~ min 5/max 25 and Adults ~ min 2/max 5

Fee: $5 per GSNorCal Youth Member, $0 per GSNorCal Adult Member

Program Fee Includes: Fun Patch

Does Not Include: physical Car Care Badge. Senior Girl Scouts may order their badge through the Girl Scout shops.

Please Note:  Wear closed toe shoes, hair must be back (ponytail/bun/braid), comfortable clothes you can get dirty or greasy in is recommended. Bring your own water bottle and sack lunch. Drop-off's are allowed.

$5.00 per Youth (Girl Scout Member)
Cancellation Policy

Events run rain or shine unless inclement weather would adversely affect a program. In those cases, participants will be notified of cancellation or rescheduling. If GSNorCal cancels the event for any reason or cannot place participants in the event of their choice, GSNorCal will issue a refund for 100% of the registration fee.

Cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing by emailing Member Services. No refunds will be issued for registration fees of less than $10 per individual. Thirty (30) days written notice is required to receive 50% of registration fees of $10 or more per individual. There are no refunds if less than 30 days written notice is given except for medical reasons. Refunds for medical reasons will only be processed if notification is made before the event and is followed within one week by a written refund request accompanied by a note from a physician. No refunds will be issued for no-shows. The $25.00 Girl Scout membership fee and $15 council service fee are non-refundable.
