Girl Scouts Love State Parks 2024

Join us for an exciting weekend of exploring the outdoors with your troop or family. We will learn about some of California's beautiful state parks, and have the opportunity to visit Butano State Park right next door with your group on Saturday (transportation not provided). We will be working towards some of the steps of the Girl Scouts Love the Outdoors Challenge and other fun camp activities including Outdoor Skills, Tie Dye, wood work and more!

Saturday, September 14th, 2024 ~ 12:00pm through Sunday, September 15th, 2024 ~ 11:30am

For: GSNorCal Youth (Grades K-12) ~ min 45/max 85 and Adults ~ min 10/max 35

Fee: $100 per GSNorCal Youth Member*, $65 per GSNorCal Adult Member

Program Fee Includes: Accommodations, food and all program supplies and activities. Meals Included are Saturday's dinner and breakfast on Sunday. 

Sleeping Accommodations: Troops and Families will be assigned to sleeping areas depending on group size and age level(s). Most groups will sleep together, unless they are an exceptionally large group they may be split into multiple areas. The available sleeping areas are cabins, canvas tents, and tree house cabins. More information about the sleeping areas can be found HERE. All sleeping areas include bed frames with a camp mattress, participants are welcome to bring a tent if preferred, but please notify the event manager in advance.
 
Please Note: This is an overnight (1 night) event. Meals and snacks will be provided. Groups must have Registered Adults to meet Girl Scout adult:youth ratios. Transportation will not be provided to and from state park activities. No tagalongs.

Cancellation Policy

Events run rain or shine unless inclement weather would adversely affect a program. In those cases, participants will be notified of cancellation or rescheduling. If GSNorCal cancels the event for any reason or cannot place participants in the event of their choice, GSNorCal will issue a refund for 100% of the registration fee.

Cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing by emailing Member Services. No refunds will be issued for registration fees of less than $10 per individual. Thirty (30) days written notice is required to receive 50% of registration fees of $10 or more per individual. There are no refunds if less than 30 days written notice is given except for medical reasons. Refunds for medical reasons will only be processed if notification is made before the event and is followed within one week by a written refund request accompanied by a note from a physician. No refunds will be issued for no-shows. The $25.00 Girl Scout membership fee and $15 council service fee are non-refundable.
