Global UN Overnight

This overnight event is focused on global issues especially those affecting girls and women. Understand the world today as it really is, discuss possible strategies for the future. Discover how you fit into the world community. This year’s congress will focus on global trade and education for girls. Try running your own country, set the laws and compete in the global marketplace.

November 9th, 2024 ~ 2:00pm through November 10th, 2024 ~ 3:30pm

For: Girl Scout youth grades 6-12 ~ min 30/max 60

Fee: $60 per GSNorCal Youth Member, $90 per Out-of-Council Youth Member

*Financial Aid is only available to GSNorCal Youth Members for this program. You will have the option to request Financial Aid during the registration process. Need help on how to request Financial Aid? View our guide here!

Program Fee Include: In-person instruction, snacks, all needed materials, meals and a fun patch!

Please Note: Participants will sleep on the floor of a multi-purpose room, please bring sleeping bags, sleeping mats, a pillow and other overnight gear as desired. This is a drop-off program.

$60.00 per Youth (Girl Scout Member)
Cancellation Policy

Events run rain or shine unless inclement weather would adversely affect a program. In those cases, participants will be notified of cancellation or rescheduling. If GSNorCal cancels the event for any reason or cannot place participants in the event of their choice, GSNorCal will issue a refund for 100% of the registration fee.

Cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing by emailing Member Services. No refunds will be issued for registration fees of less than $9 per individual. Thirty (30) days written notice is required to receive 50% of registration fees of $9 or more per individual. There are no refunds if less than 30 days written notice is given except for medical reasons. Refunds for medical reasons will only be processed if notification is made before the event and is followed within one week by a written refund request accompanied by a note from a physician. No refunds will be issued for no-shows. The $25.00 Girl Scout membership fee and $25 council service fee are non-refundable.
