Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley: Build a Playhouse - Cancelled

Ready to build skills while bringing joy to a family in the community? Construct a full-size playhouse with Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley! Along the way, learn STEM skills, construction techniques, tool safety, and teamwork. Teams of 8-12 girls will work together to assemble the walls, shingle the roof, and paint a playhouse with kid-friendly designs. Prepare for the build with STEM Playhouse Manual activities. Come in your paint clothes ready to build and have some community-supporting fun.

March 14th, 2020 ~ 9:00am to 2:30pm

For girls grades 6-8  and their adult chaperones ~ min 20/max 80

Fee: $65 per girl ~ $0 per adult chaperone

*Please Note: Includes fun patch. Wear work/paint clothes and closed-toe shoes. Register in groups of 8-12 to work on a playhouse together, or be placed with other troops on a playhouse. Girl registrations cover a portion of the playhouse material costs. Playhouses will be donated to a local family through Habitat for Humanity.

After 2/29/2020 a fee of $5.00 will apply to all girl Registrants.
After 2/29/2020 a fee of $5.00 will apply to all adult Registrants.
Cancellation Policy

Events run rain or shine unless inclement weather would adversely affect a program. In those cases, participants will be notified of cancellation or rescheduling. If GSNorCal cancels the event for any reason or cannot place participants in the event of their choice, GSNorCal will issue a refund for 100% of the registration fee.

Cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing by emailing Member Services. No refunds will be issued for registration fees of less than $10 per individual. Thirty (30) days written notice is required to receive 50% of registration fees of $10 or more per individual. There are no refunds if less than 30 days written notice is given except for medical reasons. Refunds for medical reasons will only be processed if notification is made before the event and is followed within one week by a written refund request accompanied by a note from a physician. No refunds will be issued for no-shows. The $25.00 Girl Scout membership fee and $15 council service fee are non-refundable.
