The House That She Built: Part 2

Welcome back to The House That She Built- part 2! With other Girl Scouts and the Professional Women in Building by your side, you will build a scale model of your redesign of the San Jose office! While working on your models you will meet different women in the building and construction fields to learn more about their careers and get feedback on your designs. Girl Scouts will complete the second half of “The House That She Built” program and take their patch home! Please complete Steps 1-3 of THTSB patch program before registering.

Important: This program is meant for those who have completed steps 1-3 of The House That She Built Patch prior to the event. March 16th, 2024 ~ 10:00am - 2:00pm

For: Girl Scout youth grades 4-8 ~ min 5/max 20 and Adults ~ min 1/max 10

Fee: $5 per GSNorCal Youth Member, $0 per GSNorCal Adult Member

Program Fee Includes: THTSB program and patch, program supplies, snacks.

Location: Girl Scout Office - San Jose

Please Note: Bring your own sack lunch. This is not a drop-off event.

$5.00 per Youth (GSNorCal Member)
Cancellation Policy

Events run rain or shine unless inclement weather would adversely affect a program. In those cases, participants will be notified of cancellation or rescheduling. If GSNorCal cancels the event for any reason or cannot place participants in the event of their choice, GSNorCal will issue a refund for 100% of the registration fee.

Cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing by emailing Member Services. No refunds will be issued for registration fees of less than $10 per individual. Thirty (30) days written notice is required to receive 50% of registration fees of $10 or more per individual. There are no refunds if less than 30 days written notice is given except for medical reasons. Refunds for medical reasons will only be processed if notification is made before the event and is followed within one week by a written refund request accompanied by a note from a physician. No refunds will be issued for no-shows. The $25.00 Girl Scout membership fee and $15 council service fee are non-refundable.
